This is a guide to let you know how this all works! I’m also including a preview of my items that will be available, as well as the stories behind the artworks.
The Handmade Holiday Event operates much like an auction. Fans of my work will see some familiar pieces as well as some new designs. The advantage in attending an event like this is that beginning bids start out much lower than my typical retail price, so if you pay particular attention to closing times, you have a great opportunity to get your favorite piece at a significant savings, but you have to be QUICK! And remember, holiday shopping season is upon us! All my items come beautifully packaged ready for giving, and wouldn’t it feel so good to get the rest of that shopping out of the way?
Each day there will be 1 -2 designers. Dates for each artist are a surprise, but my day is Tomorrow, November 16Th…Shhhh!!!
The first auction will begin Monday, November 12 at Noon EST (the first day), until 11:30am EST the following day.
The next designer(s) auction will begin at 1:00 EST Tuesday, November 13 until 11:30am Wednesday and so on until all designers’ items have been featured. Each designer will have approximately 15 – 30 pieces up for auction.
Stephanie will post items throughout the day and it usually take a few hours if there are a lot of items. I will be available live all that day to answer any questions you may have.
I know your time is valuable, and since I don’t know what order Stephanie will post my items, if you have your heart set on a particular item, just message me on Facebook and I can tag you when it goes live. To save a particular post, simply right click on the 3 little dots in the upper right corner, and then you can easily find that post in your FB saved items.
“Auction” Items – items that are available to bid on will say “Auction” in the heading. Occasionally, Stephanie will offer an item with a “Buy it Now” (BIN) price, but I have no idea what items those may be.
CLOSING TIME – you may want to make a note on a particular piece to write down the ending time on an item you’ve bid on. All pieces end at different times and all times are EST.
PLACING A BID: Bidding is in increments of $5 or more. BID RIGHT IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THE PIECE YOU WANT TO BID ON! Look at the starting bid, check if there is a starting bid. If there is, go higher. If there isn’t a bid, you may place your bid at the starting price or go higher. If that piece has a BIN price, you may choose that option and it’s yours immediately!
TITLE: I AM Ready MEDIUM: Acrylics and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Acrylic Paper 165 Lbs / 300 Grams SIZE: 16x20 Inch / 40x50 CM ORIGINAL: Yes
STORY: When there appears no way in When my demons push me out When my senses advocate retreat When the path forward is cloaked in doubt There I will be, standing tall and ready
When I feel alone in my pursuit of tomorrow Or tempted by the comfort of yesterday When pride whispers of their relentless criticism When my legs cry out in exhaustion There I will be, standing tall and Ready
When hell rains down When faith lets up When my reason for beginning is replaced By a million little reminders of all that can go wrong There I will be, standing tall and Ready
TITLE: Guidance MEDIUM: Acrylics and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Acrylic Paper 165 Lbs / 300 Gram SIZE: 16x20 Inch / 40x50 CM ORIGINAL: Yes STORY: Surrendering in art is one of the most difficult things to do. Trusting that the paint is there where it is supposed to be is a journey. But when you can let go of being perfect you you start the amazing work of becoming YOU. You can start learning to let the energy flow through you. When you become the antenna the painting always paints itself and stories appear. You are not alone. Be still, Connect, Align and it will reveal itself to you
TITLE: Silver Moon MEDIUM: Acrylics, Inks Oil Pastels, Pencil, Crackle Glaze SUBSTRATE: Popular Wood Panel 0.7 inch / 1.9 cm thick SIZE: 24x32 Inch / 60x80 CM ORIGINAL: Yes
STORY: Some quick symbolic meanings of silver: Awareness, Focus, Singleness of Purpose, Femininity, Persistence, Vision, Strength, Purity, Clarity Silver is symbolic of such attributes as awareness, clarity, and vision because of its bright/clear appearance. Silver is a symbol for strength because this metal withstands abuse, weathering, and even heat. Nevertheless, it can still be molded into desired forms. This is symbolic of a subtle strength. The message here is that we ourselves can be flexible enough to be molded into something better – but strong enough to keep our core integrity intact.
TITLE: The Architect MEDIUM: Acrylics, Pencils, Inks, Gold Leave SUBSTRATE: Popular Wood Panel 0.7 inch / 1.9 cm thick SIZE: 24x32 Inch / 60x80 CM ORIGINAL: Yes STORY: Today belongs to the architect
She sees towers before they pears the sky and opportunity before it transforms into the extraordinary She knows that what she wants most cannot be given It must be sculpted So she builds, She builds because those skylines don’t raise themselves from the earth The extraordinary does not appear on its own Their dreamt into their existence by the architects of reality The ones who seek not to take from the world but to contribute to it
Today is the beginning Of something New, something better, something worth remembering And it existed long before the present moment, waiting for your vision, your courage, your persistence to bring it to life. To many times we fail to reach into the realm of what we know and get more of ourselves.
It’s okay to struggle, to be wrong, to have to rebuild a thousand times, but the great tragedy is closing our eyes and walking by life’s opportunity. Everything you need to rebuild the life you dream of is around you You’re every move If only you’d reach for it, see it before your eyes, you become the Architect of change Nothing is impossible when you are the one setting the rules, when your hand draws the guidelines You are not at the mercy of the world You are creating it This is yours
And there will never be a moment like it again so don’t run from it or hope life gives you what you want. Take the pieces in front of you and construct your masterpiece
TITLE: Without Words MEDIUM: Acrylics, Oil Pastels, Inks and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Popular Wood Panel 0.7 inch / 1.9 cm thick SIZE: 16 x 24 Inch / 40 x 60 CM ORIGINAL: Yes
STORY: My paintings always tell me a story afterwards when I can be still enough through the process of making it. This is a highly energized painting. She is all about trust, a returning subject for me. Trust the process. Trust my abilities. Trust the energy. It’s all already there. All i have to do, all we have to do is be ready to receive it and know that we are worth it. We are good enough. I am really connected to this piece. In the end of the painting struggle she turned out amazing and shussed me with her finger… It’s gonna be alright. Like she told me: “I told you so, now trust me, trust the energy, trust yourself! Without ever really speaking a word to me. I am grateful for what art can do in ones conversation with her or his self.
TITLE: I AM Whole - Affirmation MEDIUM: Acrylics and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Acrylic Paper 165 Lbs / 300Gr SIZE: 16x20 Inch / 40x50 CM ORIGINAL: Yes
STORY: In my affirmation art works its all about the duality. The opposite. We humans tend to wait until we have certain things before we can be what we want. But nevertheless is true. We already have everything we need to be whatever we want, sometimes it is just our perception of how we look at things. She may not look whole but she most definitely is. The questions is does she have to look whole to be whole. What you tell yourself during the day. How you name your I AM’s is very powerful. Be sure to be soft and gentle to yourself and name your I Am’s beautiful things!
TITLE: I AM Trust MEDIUM: Acrylics. collage and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Acrylic Paper 165Lbs / 300Gr SIZE: 16x20 Inch / 40x50 CM ORIGINAL: Yes STORY: In my affirmation art works its all about the duality. The opposite. We humans tend to wait until we have certain things before we can be what we want. But nevertheless is true. We already have everything we need to be whatever we want, sometimes it is just our perception of how we look at things. Do we have to be able to see before we can truly trust. Is sight necessary? True and full trust comes when we are trusting ourselves, When we are able to see things for what they truly are, this is not seen with eyes but with the heart, the spirit! Full trust comes when we are ready to surrender to ourselves and be vulnerable.. How you name your I AM’s is very powerful. Be sure to be soft and gentle to yourself and name your I Am’s powerful things!
TITLE: Tears of Love MEDIUM: Acrylics, inks and Pencil SUBSTRATE: Popular Wood Panel 0.7 inch / 1.9 cm thick SIZE: 16x24 Inch / 40x60 CM ORIGINAL: Yes STORY: Bittersweet goodbyes are always the hardest. Knowing you gained so much in the presence of beautiful souls but not being able to make the moment last forever. So you walk away with new and profound experiences. Deep soul connections and memories for life. Tears of love and gratefulness for the beautiful things life has to offer. Tears of love for the moments that cannot last in physical form. Sometimes it's better to have had the moment that didn't last forever then to have never had them at all.

TITLE: A Flicker Of Light MEDIUM: Acrylics, Inks, Marker, Pencils, Fluids SUBSTRATE: Acrylic Paper 165Lbs / 300Gr SIZE: 16x20 Inch / 40x50 CM ORIGINAL: Yes
STORY: Simple truth:
Just because you don't see a solution doesn't mean one isn't sitting right next to you.We misinterpreted live when the lights are off and the path is unclear. Imagine being in a dark room and sitting by yourself in pitch black and having no idea what's around you, every direction is uncertain. A troubling feeling, fear inducing. But what it doesn't mean is that the content within the room is insufficient for what you need. It doesn't mean you need to go somewhere else to find your answers or that you failed. It means that you simply have to turn on the LIGHT. What you need is right next to you, you are just not seeing it. That is the point. We all have been in that metaphorical darkness. We equate that with failure or loss, feeling like we are not quit enough. Its why we get discouraged, its when we write narratives based on our supposed inadequacy. If only the situation was slightly different. When the time is right, The weather is good, The door is open… Then i'll be what I need to be, where I want to be. But in reality you are NOT lost. You are not substantially off track. You just can't see the solution you are sitting on. And because you can't see it, its not there. Some build bridges others build walls. You can believe you are inadequate or simply improve. The answers surround you every day. Because when you find yourself in even the darkest of places you are not confined to that reality, you are tasked with changing it. When you are not getting the result you want, take a step back and reexamine how you are looking for your answers. Because with persistence and a single flicker of light, you can reconstruct the world around you.
Loads of Love,
